If a customer order is being delivered direct from another site in TranSend, if once the order is delivered it is found the full quantity is available, here is an example of the steps required to fix this issue.
Site A adds a customer order for 5 of product A for delivery by internal purchase direct from site B.
Site B delivers the link customer order for 5 but finds only 4 can be delivered. The exception on the confirmation in TranSend automatically creates a RMA in site B for 1.
This puts 5 into internal order transit and the internal PO is automatically booked in for 5.
Site A needs to manually delivery confirm the order line for 4, so only 4 is invoiced to the customer.
Site A then has 1 remaining in stock, so needs to create a stand alone customer order to send 1 from site A to site B. Then deliver the order to put 1 back into internal transit.
Site B can then return the 1 in internal transit on the RMA into their stock.
Site A then creates a new customer order for 1 to the customer using supply by internal purchase direct.
Site B can then deliver the linked order for 1 on the new linked order.
Site B can then delivery confirm the new order and invoice the balance of 1 to the customer.
